Terms such as shared, pooled, replacement, lifetime or unofficial can describe very different offers. Buyers should verify the seller and the exact license arrangement with the software maker before paying.
Ask the software maker
Ask whether the seller is authorized, whether the offered license arrangement is permitted, and whether normal updates and support remain available.
Keep independent proof
Save the product page, terms, invoice, payment record and any license identifier. Dated captures help preserve what was publicly presented at the time.
Separate price from authorization
A low price may justify extra verification, but price alone does not prove whether a specific license is authorized or unauthorized.
