A customer-facing support ticket can close for many administrative reasons while abuse, legal or internal-review work continues separately. A tracker should report only what the vendor actually confirmed.

Closure is a status, not a verdict

If a vendor says nothing further is needed from the reporter, that does not by itself prove that the underlying offer was approved or rejected.

Preserve the vendor’s wording

Record whether the vendor referred the matter to another team, said it could not discuss account-specific action, or promised a later update.

Update the tracker carefully

Change only the affected status text and date. Do not infer an enforcement action, takedown or authorization finding unless the vendor actually states one.
