Why does RH Watch exist?
Because when a company sells extremely cheap licenses for commercial server software, customers deserve to know one simple thing: Is the license actually authorized by the software company that created it?
RegularHost publicly advertises what it calls “SHARED LICENSE” products for commercial software including cPanel, CloudLinux, JetBackup, WHMCS, LiteSpeed and other hosting tools.
RH Watch was created as an independent consumer-information and evidence project to document those offers, contact the real software vendors, preserve public evidence, and publish what those vendors actually say.
Our rule is simple
- 🔎 Evidence first.
- 📄 Document the claim.
- 🏢 Ask the real vendor.
- ⚠️ Clearly separate confirmed findings from open investigations.
- ❌ Never present an open complaint as proof of a crime.
Some vendors have already given us important answers. Others are still reviewing the evidence. RH Watch will publish those updates here as they happen.
